Carlyle Design Associates received an arido Award of Merit at arido’s Annual Awards Gala on September 19, 2012, where they shared the honour with team colleagues from both Ronald McDonald House Toronto and Montgomery Sisam Architects.

The new 100,000 square foot, five-level house is the largest Ronald McDonald House in the world. Designed to be an oasis in the city, the building provides all the facilities that families need to make the house their own: communal living, kitchen and dining rooms, games and playrooms, a library, a variety of activity spaces, a school and 81 family suites. True to guiding design principles, the house is open, warm and welcoming, full of light, colour and connections to outdoors.
